World in Conflict: Final Assault

Back in 2008 I started a historic run on my accumulated computer games.

I finished Bioshock, Crysis, and Call of Duty 4...

...in the same week.

And I began a vicious assault on World in Conflict... that ended for reasons I don't remember. (I think GTAIV came out or something.)

Well now I'm beginning the final assault on Seattle.

What a great game this is. THey need a sequel like NOW.

Well there's the expansion: Soviet Assault (which they never actually released as an expansion. But it just comes with the full version and the expansion... unless you buy it on Steam for the same price only you JUST get the expansion and it only works on the Steam version.)

It is called World in Conflict Gold Edition, you can get it from Ubisoft for $19.00 direct download.

Not bad if you want to play both sides of the game.

Well it's called all kinds of things. In the stores it's currently World in Conflict Complete, or World in Conflict Gold, OR World in Conflict Soviet Assault.

But it's all the same package: The original game+ expansion.... which is BS if you already have the original game.

They should've just released the expansion for free.

Ya, well I have the maps but the path that Ubisoft has on their web page doesn't work, and trying all the different combinations from My Documents to the install directory doesn't bring them up either.

Nothing in any readme's have any info on how to add maps, have you done it yet?
