Intel G2 SSD's & Price

Is anyone finding either the 80's or 160's at a reasonable price? Like near there MSRP of $230 and $440 respectively?

Im getting really close to pulling the trigger on getting them as I'd like to have them roughly by end of month. I prefer to have roughly 150gigs of usable space without going overkill on price (really aiming at sub $500 if not $450 range) yet still getting my performance.

This lists a bunch of places, haven't used any of them, some have good reviews some have worse, few have the 80GB under $240 and have 4 stars or more so might be worth a shot.

They normally ship the same day. I'm not sure why it says 8-9 weeks, but I'd call the Toshiba Direct 800 number at the top of the page to verify.

Lot of places I looked earlier today for the 80GB G2 said more expected shipments in November. Some places not have not expected to sellout and are a bit back ordered.

Just ordered 2x 80Gig G2's from eCost for $234.99 for the next ~15 hours.

Works for me :) With the going rate of a 60Gig Vertex of $200-230 (MIR lesser amount) for the price to go to an 80Gig drive its worth it at just over $1.5 more per GB or less considering I'd want at least 2 drives.
