hey i have the motorola surfboard and optimum online and i just got a dell with windows xp and for some reason it always cuts off after like 10 mins and i have to unplug and replug the modem. i run it with an intel ethernet card. does ne1 know wats goin on

Check with your cable company sounds like a problem there end, a freind had the same problem. :D

look around there, see if everything looks good...

The link that he gave you was simply the link to get into your modem's control panel.

Get a screenshot of that first screen and post it here so we can look at your settings and readings please.
