Hello all,
For a couple days now my subwoofer has been acting up. It is operating at about 10% of what it used to. A half bar used to be enough to shake the room and now with the sub turned half way up doesn't even come close to the power a half-bar could make. The fuse is good and all the speakers work fine. I tried different inputs such as the 6 channel direct as well as the optical with my PS3. Same result with both inputs.
There was a thunder storm recently but the speakers are hooked up to a power surge and the fuse didn't blow in the power strip. Any ideas? Does the problem lie within the sub or maybe the control unit?
