Greetings and Salutations hah

I just wanted to post my issue here and hope that someone would be able to provide some feedback and advice.

My setup bassically consists of:

-P5E3 Deluxe Wi-fiAP mobo BIOS V1415
-Q6600
-4gb DDR3 Corsair Dominator GT 2000ghz 8-8-8-24
-Windows 7 64bit
-2xHD4890 CF

As I'm posting from work, I do not have more info available.

To begin with I used to have BIOS version 0903, back then I also used windows XP 32bit and could increase the FSB to 450 stable on air with ram set around 1333mhz (had ddr3 1333mhz ram back then too). Occasionally on very hot days or after running for a long time it'd become unstable although that wasnt an issue for me so I would just turn off the OC during summer..etc

Once I installed windows 7 64bit I had random BSOD even into a few minutes of operation when enabling 400+ FSBs and 1400+ dram. In an effort to remedy the problem I thought it was the ram and the fact that my 64bit operating system was causing issues with insufficient 2gb ram, so i bought 4gb of ddr 2000mhz (2000 because I plan to upgrade the mobo and cpu later on in order to fully utilise the speed)

Unfortunately it still crashed with BSOD even after a dozen min of operation when trying to run 400FSB with dram set to 1600mhz. I then flashed my BIOS to the newest version (1415). To my distress I now cannot even post when I set my DRAM above 1400mhz, If i leave my DRAM to <1400 and increase my FSB regardless it posts.

I think the new BIOS recognises the limitations of the RAM as when i refer to the RAM timings and info, it has preferred values of 4XX, 5XX and 6XXmhz with the XMP value at 1000mhz. Now i cannot do 1000 because theres no way to push the FSB to 500 on a Q6600. With the previous BIOS version it let me push the dram higher although it would be unstable to a certain degree (which may be due to the FSB or the DRAM).

Ez Flash 2 will not let me load the old BIOS because it says its too old for my board ... -.-

I usually leave most values on auto regarding the voltage.

Temperature isnt an issue, these crashes occur when the cpu reads about 40-50 celsius.

finally,

1. Does anyone have any preferred BIOS settings to help me run the PC at 400FSB, ratio 8 (3.2Ghz), DRAM at 1600mhz specifically regarding the voltages.

2. I plan to wait on the next cpu release after i7, does anyone have a rough date, or know if the existing latest LG 1366 socket will be compatible (in which case id get an i7 mobo and chip temporarely)

3. At the moment I'm running stable on FSB 350 @ 3.15ghz, DRAM 1400
