Cooling Mod Advice.

Hi all did some great case mods for my cooling and got temps to a max of 39c.

That being done I now am intrested in quieting her down.I have 2 delta 38cfm fans that are rated at 46.5dba.These fans are held to the sink with clips.so that sit right on the heat sink.

Ok here is my question,If I take 2- 92mm fans,and attach them to my airducts that point directly over the 2 cpus will I cool as well ?

The 92mm fans are 50cfm but will not be directly attached to heat sinks.Thay would be aprox 1/4 of an inch above the heat sinks.And thay are rated at 35dba.

If you need to see the ducts to picture what I am talking about I will post pics.Any advice is welcome even flaming advice lol........

ya may want to try a shroud, so that you won't have any excaping air out the sides.

Electrical tape might work, if your in a pinch. Post pix please.

Here are the ducts I want to attach 2 fans on bottom of ducts.This will posistion fans 1/4 inch above heat sinks.The fans are 50cfm each and way quiter than these screamers that move 38cfm.
