Any updates ma'man?

Yea, I'm waiting for Brolloks to wrap up his testing (he's had a few 5870s die, says he'll have the testing and review written up by next weekend) and for DJ Spiel to get done testing his new Sapphire HD 5870.

I'm also trying to recruit someone to write an article on the oven trick. If no one takes that by the end of this weekend, I'll write it up myself.

Have you talked to Pauld5999 about writing recently? I have him on my spreadsheet because you mentioned his interest, but I haven't seen anything from him. Might want to make sure he knows who to work with if he's still interested. Thanks!

Edited out Brolloks HD 5870 P55/X58 review as he no longer has time, and added the "oven trick" article by myself.

I'm processing the articles you submitted, they should likely be published next week, or early the week after.

None at this time, trying to think up some creative, original article ideas that haven't been run into the ground by bigger sites. Any ideas?

The article by djspiel looks great. Forwarding it to Joe to schedule publishing. You may want to ask him if he'd like to do a followup on overclocking results with the card... If he doesn't want to stress it too badly, he could do modest overclocks and look at the benchmark differences between the overclock and stock settings he's already bencmarked. Just a suggestion, maybe he's interested?

Maybe you could see if anyone in the 3dmark benching forum wants to write something up?

I'll get back to you with any other ideas I have, working on getting some more stuff to Joe currently.

EDIT: I also just forwarded your oven trick article to Joe, it was a good read. Thanks!

I PMed Ed earlier this week asking him how it was going, he replied saying real life was taking its toll and he wouldn't be able to write the article.

I did get your e-mail, and I was able to log in and change my pw

Updates?

Nothing, krag was having problems with his HD 5870x2s regarding drivers and I think he sold his HD 4870x2 before he was ever able to run any comparison benchmarks.

Just need someone willing to ask members to write stuff up every once in a while when you see a good ATI threads or there's something going on with ATI that's interesting. :)

Doesn't require much else! :D It's too much work for a couple people to keep up on every section and ensure we are promoting interesting things in the forums... but one person in one section is pretty easy going. :)

Looks like I'm a content editor then, imog you should go into sales some day.

Now time to go talk to the guy with 20 5850s in the benching section.

Great, just create a new thread titled "Konakona - ATI" and try to update it every week or two with any articles people may be working on, or anything you expect someone to be writing up soon.

Here's the standard CE description:
http://overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=619972

Really though, the CE role just finds people to write stuff, PM's me to create their wordpress account (just need their username and email address), and gives the article a read before we publish it.

Here's a quick start guide for how you can help us:
http://overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=621619

EDIT: Also gave you CE access in wordpress, so you can see a bit more than you could as an author. ;)
