What software are you using to connect? The Sympatico software or something else? WinMe is always a little twitchy with the Sympatico software. Don't hesitate to call tech support, you're paying for it every month, so you might as well annoy them like I do. :D

Ah, I have the same thing...lol.
What version of the program do you have? I ran HSE on ME and I had no problems.
Make sure you get 1.5b.

Yeah try what Gandalf said or cheak to see if your dsl modem is working properly or the nic card
You can try moving your nic/sound cards to other slots, some mobo's like to share resourses between different pci slots, but some cards don't play nice together, particularly sound cards and nics.
Why oh why can't they write in 25 IRQ's so the world can get along? Computers are way beyond the 2 card systems that this was invented for.
Hmm does Sympatico provide you the lastest software on their site? They must if so get on there and get it and install that and make sure your go into device manager to see that all drives are working and then update your NIC drivers.
Thats all I can think of is the software conflict as Rogers never played nice with me. So then I found out I didn't need the program to run the internet :D
