SLI with different brands

Hello, I own a XFX GTX 260 and I was wondering if I can use another 260 but different brand and also my 260 is core 196, can I combine it with a core 216? thank you gys in advance.

Yes you can mix brands... as for 192 core and 216 core... im not sure... probably, but the 216 core one will be running slower...

You can, but you'll want to be putting the slower card in the Primary slot. this will cause the faster card to slow down to match. this is the best set up for stability.

Brand, 192/216 shaders, clock speeds all do not matter. A GTX 260 will SLI with a GTX 260.
