so i have my gaming rig (3.5Ghz DC, 4Gb Ram, 1x 260).

here my question:
i have a 24" Acer LCD (1920x1200 rez) which works great for my PS3 and PC, but i would like to get a TV Tuner for the comp. Now, which card would be good for;

1) just watching Comcast Cable (prob basic maybe HD later)
2) hooking up older game consoles to my PC

i would just buy a TV but i do not want to right now (Saving For LED TV).

any help would be great

I'm using an AverMedia Duet (model A188 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=A188)) which handles ClearQAM DTV. That will get you the basic cable plus local HD channels. I think Comcast has those open in most areas although YMMV. It's a dual tuner so you can watch + record or record 2 at once. PCI-E. Works well with Vista/Win7 WMC. Don't know much about support for other media centers.

That was going to be my question...I am thinking about getting a tuner card, but I don't wanna get burned on a cheap card with no features, or pay too much for one with the features that I want....should I steal this thread, or just say what ^he^ said?
