Can I build a m15x or m17x myself?

Is there anyway I can get my hands on a m15x or m17x laptop chaise then just buy all the components separately and build it myself?

I suppose it's possible if you were to go on eBay and find the parts for it, but i don't know of any companies that offer anything like that :/
