Anyone heard of this thing?
Would this survive an i7 920 + GTX 285 2Gb?
Or do you think that it would be easy to stick a normal PSU into this case...

It looks like it has room for one, no idea of size diffrence though. Would be awesome if you could just stick a full size psu in there with no modding.
Looks like a standard ATX power supply to me just don't get a large one

Would be the perfect case for what I want. Well everything except better cooling (have my heart set on a Corsair H50).
But can't find anywhere to buy the darn thing lol
That GMC case uses an "SFX" sized micro ATX power supply. The Athena Power you linked to is a "PS3" sized micro ATX power supply - basically just an ATX PSU that is really, really short. It will physically not fit in that case.
The highest +12v power of any SFX PSU that I know of (unless someone proves me wrong) is this Seasonic 350W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151063) that has 26A of combined +12v power.
No, it won't run a Core i7 with a GTX 285.
It will run a Core 2 Duo with a GTX 260, as I have done so and I know others have as well.

That sucks.
Well, anyway, do you know where to actually get one of those cases? Been looking all over and can't seem to find one now that I saw a review and decided I liked it. It looks like it has plenty of room in the review, do you think that a full ATX Psu could fit in one with some minor modding?

nem,
how many 5.25 bays does that case have? if you have a second one you can add a dedicated 5.25 psu for just powering video cards.

Sadly I've already considered that option, it only has the one. It's insane they can make them the size of a cdrom that have that much power but can't make a TFX with 550 watts. I'm starting to run low in options. The other case I want, can't run the cooling I want. This case doesn't have enough power, no way to get enough, and doesn't seem to be sold anywhere. The third case I was thinking about doesn't have as good of cooling, and the HDD cage is in the way of longer GFX cards, and the case is too nice/expensive to chop on. If I have to give up on having the cooling that I want, there's only one case that I like that gives me the options I'd like, the Mozart SX but it's ugly as all get out lol. I'm only going to be using one expansion card, so I'd like a case with a full ATX psu that's laying down as to be slimmer, be mATX, and uses a riser card for the GFX. If it doesn't have a riser card, I'd want it no taller than 1/2 inch or so more than the full size expansion slot. The nMedia HTPC cases were looking nice but there's no way to stick a GFX card in them w/o completely destroying their system for mounting all the drives.
*sighs* Soooo frustrated over this lol
I found one case that is interesting. Karma TF5, can use mATX mobo, standard 1U PSU (can actually find one of those with enough juice) OLED display, and 2 full size expansion slots via riser card. Think this is a possibility? What would be a quality 1U psu for it?
