Just Noticed....

Anyone else notice that the Seti forum activity has been rapidly gaining on the Folding forum? Not that I'm against folding, but I had a lot of problems with it and finally decided to give it a rest. I remember a few months ago the OC folding forum had a LOT more posts than Seti. Today this forum has caught up and appears to be close to passing the folding area fairly soon. Just thought this was interesting. It was 4 months ago our community was at a major crossroads.

I peek in the folding forums now and then, but havent posted in there yet.

I remember when, not so long ago when there was no Folding forum...

I remember when, probably about 5 months ago, when Folding forum posts were 3:1 with SETI posts...

There are several great distributed projects around but my first and only home is SETI.

I remember when there were hardly any teams much less the giants around today. ;)

I like Seti best. I like the idea of it although Folding isn't bad either. But I just like Seti better who knows why. WU's are faster you can actually compare how fast and search for aliens!

I'm only with SETI, but seems that one of the main problems with Folding is its server.....Let's hope that this current bandwidth crissis don't affect SETI with a mass migration to other distributed projects.

We went through a slow period, both teams are need of more recruits but we keep moving up through the ranks with the Group we have. Folding was in the Numero uno spot and then the 2 spot and now the three spot. Both projects are great ventures but some don't see a benefit in one or the other and choose to go with what interests them. It is nice to see all the activity now, great to see the new recruits too. Keep it up guys number 1 isn't near as far as Kris would say "Remember when..." We are and continue to be, on the move and it only get's better.
