I wanted to ask can i flash bios from an msi 4850 to mine(sapphire 4850 dualslot fanshink),can something go wrong?Thanks.

If you're going to flash a non-reference BIOS on a reference design card, or vice versa, you can brick the card. Is this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102824) your card?

as far as anything electronic goes, you should never flash bios from different series/manufacturers.

I've never done it with video cards, but i feel that the same rules and results apply...

try it and you will need a new card

You can cross-flash w/ good results, but you have to be very careful as ghost pointed out.

What does it mean:checksum mismatch!Did you selected proper adapter for this bios? in RBE?
