So been out of the loop (no pun intended) for a while and noticed there's a new DDC out there and dumb expensive. One of my ddc died and I wanna replace both. So which model DDC do you guys recommend and I would like to pair it up with a dual top. THanks in advance for the help.

I'd go with the MCP355 (DDC-1+ Ultra; 18W). Some say the lower wattage version is more quiet, but I can't even hear my 355 over fans. Paired with the XSPC dual top (http://skinneelabs.com/Pumps/DDC/XSPC/DualTop/XSPC_DualDDC.html), you're talking some serious head pressure.

Are those tops available for sale yet?

Yep, Performance-PCs has them (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=439&products_id=26241). FrozenCPU does as well, for $2.00 cheaper (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9683/ex-pmp-87/XSPC_Dual_Pump_Acrylic_Top_Laing_DDC-1T1TPlus_MCP-350355_Replacement_Top_.html?tl=g30c107s156).

Why would you do this?

I don't see why you'd need more head pressure than what a MCP655 can put out, and its a heck of a lot cheaper than going dual MCP355 with a dual top.

Well number is for safety as in redundancy. I didnt even realize one of my pumps died until I realized its unusually quiet. Secondly, I have the Koolance CPU wb, which is like the most restrictive block on the market, plus a fullcover gpu and nb block. So yea its beneficial.

Yep, highly restrictive loops and redundancy are what I was going to post but situman beat me to it. :)
