UT controlls sluggish at high fps

I just upgraded my processor, and doubled my fps :) , but the controls are somewhat unresponsive now. When the game was running at 30fps, the fontrols were perfect, except at the menu, where it wouldn't have to draw as much, the controlls would be kind of sluggish. Now that the game is running at 60fps, the whole game is like that. I don't know how to explain it better.

Increasing mouse sensativity just make the sluggish controlls move like crazy-sluggish.

Why? Why? my favorite game is now unplayable!

Try unintalling and reinstalling UT.

re detect your video in preferences that should help. what card do you have?

Is it only in the menu? If so, it might just be that your card isn't good for 2D, so the menu will be really slow(happens with some games). Otherwise it might just be a psychological thing :p

I had this problem - UT ESPECIALLY at the menu would run super sluggish for me, even at 640x480 -- something that shouldn't happen on a well kept GeForce3/Athlon1400 system that I've got. What did I do? I went to safe mode and hit 'all video devices' and switched to OpenGL. Fixed the problem like that *snaps*. The cause? I don't know. I've got a fix and I'm sticking with it.

and yes, all drivers, vias, directx, etc. are installed. Don't ask me.
