how do you define a part number?

RK80532PC041512 this is the part number of a 2.0 ghz northwood cpu sold in googlegear. how do i define if its good or not. i can tell the last 3 numbers are cache but thats all.

A lot of retailers make up part numbers that are unique to their store in order to standardize their database to help track their inventory. I suspect that this is the case.
