VERY Poor 3dmark's with 1700xp?????

I have just got my self a 1700xp with all the trimmings 256ddr, 7200 hd, asus a7v266-e mb

The only thing not new is my gf2mx200 64 meg gfx card.

I know I should be getting alot more than 5731 in 3dmark 2000.

I think its my gfx card holding me back. What do you think?

Would a gf2 pro or better help my sys?

5700? On a geforce 2 mx? Dang..... that's pretty sweet.

With my 1600+ @ 1.56, and geforce 2 mx400 I can hit 3000 with some major tweaking.

Check the averages for your setup with your online resultbrowser.

Your video card is going to have the most impact on your 3dmark scores. Everything else will add a little, but not much.

Download 3Dmark2k1. Thats the newest one and everyone goes off the current one. Its at madonion.com but it sounds like your getting the scores your supposed to.
