For my sig rig?

In Furmark 5467

3D Mark 06 12982

Catalyst control centre, all settings at default
No AA or AF on, mostly using application settings.

That seems low to me, though with the highly cpu bound 3dmark06 it's hard to tell for sure.
If you OC the cpu a bit that score will probably go up a lot.

Cheers bob. I've found out since posting this that it's about the right score.

You should give Vantage a whirl, I dont think 3DMark06 will can test the card to its full potential.

I will tomorrow when I receive my brand new shiny box of windows 7 home premium from amazon :)

Vantage doesn't work in XP, needs DX10.

Correct :) I did not know what OS you were running. GL w/ your testing

Score seems about right for the setup. 3dmk06 isnt so much "cpu bound" (meaning the CPU is struggling to output data) as it is the # of cores and clockspeed dependent as those are variables in the equation for the total score (essentially). You would get an extra 2k points in 06 if that dual core was a quad. ;)

I bet if you OC'd the cpu to say, 3.7 or so the score would go up a lot.
Mine went from 11k to 13k with just CPU overclocking. Course my cpu is 2.5 stock, but still it's something to try for giggles.

Of course it will bob!! *looks at my post above yours, nods in agreement* :)
