Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 USB's broken?

Hey,

I just installed a Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 into my computer, but the USB's are playing up.
Firstly, the front USB ports on my computer are showing up as usb 1.1 (when on older mobo's they definately showed up as 2.0.)

Secondly, I cant plug devices into the rear of the computer, as they dont show up. Strangely though, my keyboard and mouse are both connected via the rear USB, and they work fine. But, if I try to connect a pen-drive, it doesnt work (I tried 2 differnt pendrives, and all the available ports).


Any ideas?

os is vista 64bit, and all the drives off mobo cd are installed
