View Full Version : 1080p lcd monitor on the egg
Newegg just changed the price on the Acer 21.5'' full HD monitor to $150 with free shipping. I was about to buy one just a couple days ago at the $160+shipping price, so I'm glad I had patience! Just ordered it a few minutes ago! I've been looking for a little while is this is definitely the best deal I've come across for a full HD 1080 monitor.
And the best bonus is it includes all the cables, VGA/DVI/HDMI. A DVI and a decent HDMI cable run $20. This is a steal of a deal.

DVI is actually like $8 after shipping at monoprice. :( HDMI is pretty cheap though.
 I couldn't find an HDMI cable for under $15

OK thanks but I'll probably just use the DVI anyway.
I just ordered some hdmi cables from mono the other day when I was ordering some other stuff. I got blue cause it was like 40 cents less each. Apparently blue is an ugly color? LOL

Still doesn't beat my $84.00 1080p 21.6" Westinghouse from Best Buy ;p I was a little worried about the brand, but it has a very nice picture, no dead pixels or bleed through at the top of the screen. :)
Bottom continues to fall out of the component market.

I saw that one on newegg too. Wish I had not already purchased an LCD already.

 Nice. I did look at best buy, office max, staples, the local computer stores, and some other websites but didn't find anything cheaper. Well, tiger direct had a ''hyundai'' moniter for $140 shipped, but that didin't include a DVI or HDMI cable plus this is an Acer so that wasn't worth it at all.

Yeah the deal I got was a couple of months back on mine, and they were discontinuing it.
Nice..Thanks for the heads up...got one. replacing an 12 year old 19"crt
No problem. I also went from a 19'' crt, but a really good one. Dell M991, which does 1600x1200 resolution and that was pretty good for gaming but the widescreen is definitely better since you can see more. As far as clarity, they are about the same with a slight edge to the Acer 1080p. It was definitely worth the $ though, very happy.
