Here (http://www.overclockers.com/tips219/) is a link that Ed/Joe were kind enough to post on the site.
Fan...use a high cfm (moderate cfm) and low rpm so it's quiet!
Power comes from the PS and routed out the back of the case.
That can be done several ways. Neat/Messy....clean looks is what you want.
Good Luck.
Hope this helps.

Why do you want to cool the monitor?
Yea why would anybody wanna cool there monitor? just for looks ?
I have a monitor cooler and it works great. I got mine from 1coolpc.com but I think other sites sell them too. Really prevents heat from building up. You can tell by placing your hand on top of the monitor. 0 heat.
I made a change though. Instead of drawing power from the computer PSU through a power connector via modified PCI face plate (comes with the package), I cut the wires and connected them to an AC/DC adapter with a multi-voltage selector (costs 4 bucks) and plugged it into a standard household socket. I also inserted a switch in the circuit. This way I can turn it on and off, whenever I want to, and I can also choose the voltage. Running now at 7.5 volts (really quiet this way and still provides adequate cooling).

I thought about cooling my monitors... Then I found a use for it... I cured the epoxy and Goop of my water blocks on my 14" Sony... :)...

My monitor runs cool so I have to use a radiator (the room one not the PC one) for that ;)

I just spent half an hour looking for my thread, but I did a project on this a little while ago (3-4 weeks). The thread was called "Monitor cooling mod for the brave" and it was in this forum. Basically what I did was wire up a 120vac fan inside my monitor from the monitor's power connector. It was switched on and off by a relay that closed only when the tube filament heater came on so when the monitor went into standby the fan would turn off cuz the monitor wouldn't be getting hot. Here's the final result....I have pics of the whole project, internals and all....if you ask I'll post them.
