im having problems with it, sometimes whem im surfin the net itll just stop and not connect to the url i put in the addy bar, it gets real anoyin when it wont move for a minute =[

any1 know how to fix>?

what kind of connection do you have? does ie lock up or just doesn't go to the next url?

try typing like "google" then hit ctrl+ enter and it should fill in the http://www.google.com.

i have dsl and its only happened since i upgraded to ie 6

IE 6 shows up under Add/Delete programs for me, but I'm sure it can't possibly be that easy.

I'll second Opera 6, I use it and love it.

M$ made sure that it is very hard to get rid of it. I would just search on google if you truely need to get rid of ie6.

just remove it from the add remove programs window it will revert back to the previous ie with no prob, pick the yes clean up option upon reboot

Just make sure that IE isnt running when you try to remove it. Meaning makesure Active Desktop is turned off.
