Used Games from Amazon

I dont really know if this is the correct place to post this, so if not my bad.
Iv never really thought about buying used PC games because of the chance the CD codes are no good/pirated/banned. But what do you all thing of buying used games off Amazon? I want to pick up COD 4 and Bioshock (As i cant find my cases with my CD key) on PC and you can get it for around $20. Didnt know this is was an ok idea or totally to be shunned upon.

Unless it was a game that didn't require a key/activation, I wouldn't buy it. Console games I buy almost always new and I know for sure that I'm getting the original.

I would also look at it if you are wanting to play online definitely get it new/unopened. If it is only a single player game (with no online components) I am more willing to take a chance, but generally stick to new copies.
