depends on which motherboard you have some can't overclock and some can. first thing you need to do is unlock it by connecting L1 bridges

bridges are on the top the L1 are to unlock they come cut just draw line to file the gap then you should be able to change multiplier you might have to raise vcore up if not stable. you should be able to get atleast to 1200 mhz becareful not to cross the bidges though

never used pencil 2b... have used plain old no.2 pencil noticed that some of the multipliers don't work sometimes might have something to do with how well you pencil the bridges because have redone and got all multipliers.
conductive ink with a toothpick works nice and can be washed off if you screw up.

tried it with a needle too difficult to get enough on bridges. might try with toothpick to see if it is easier

the price of defogger paint is chump change compared to what people spend to oc their puter

First of all, Welcome to the forums.
Follow the above advice and read the article on closing the bridges. I would also suggest that you spend some time in the "Beginners Guides", a link is provided on the front page of this site.
Once you are ready to unlock the bridges, below is a picture of the product that I've used many times with very good success.
Good Luck!

First of all, here's a link to the latest BIOS update for your Lucky Star K7MKLE motherboard;
http://www.lucky-star.com.tw/english/technical/bios/via.htm#SLOT-A
If you looked for this, you didn't look very far. This BIOS is the first one listed on the Lucky Star Technical support BIOS update page, easily accessed from the front page of their site.
