Moving Raid-0 Arrays

Can a raid array be moved from one controller to another? I figure I can do it by moving the array first, booting from Windows CD and using the recovery console to change/correct the MBR and such. I've already tried moving one from a SiI controller to a Nvidia controller and Nvidia raid recognized it but wouldn't boot "Non-Bootable Disk". I've had that problem when trying to install Win-7 but used the MBR to get back in.

The array may loose its bootable status when you transfer controllers. In general practice it is bad habbit to move a array from one controller to another.
