Buy laptop now or wait till Black Friday?

I'm moving at the end of October and I'm selling my desktop so I'll need a laptop.
Do you think its worth it to wait until Black Friday and try to snag a deal there? I'm not aiming for a cheap laptop, but something relatively fast and can maybe play games on medium at least.

Might be worth waitign for, I believe Black Friday is when there are many sales, so the price can be reduced of components etc. by a substantial amount.

Equivalent to "boxing-day", but in the states it is after Thanksgiving. It is also the time when most sales are out of the "Red" and into the "Black."

Like most things its only fun with friends... and hot chocolate. :)

I doubt you'll find a computer that's decent for gaming on BF - most of the laptop deals are on laptops are pretty low spec-wise - hence the cheap cost. I'd watch SD pretty close and jump on whatever deal looks best to you, but wouldn't wait until BF to buy.
