Anyone know when new official radeon 8500 drivers will be out?

I have tried all the beta drivers that have come out for the 8500 and I have not been able to find any that work with my system. All the ones I have tried leave me stuck with a lousy 60Hz refresh rate on my screen. I have tried multirez and even that will not force the refresh rate up to a nice clear 85hz.

If anyone knows when the new drivers will be out, or if there is a way to "fix" my system to work with these drivers, I would be very happy to hear about it.

System is:
celeron 850@1133
asus tusl2-c
256mb pc 133
radeon 8500 retail
IBM 40gb GXP
sb Live5.1
pci network card
I belive that is it

is tv out enabled? if you have both tv and monitor as primary displays your monitor will be limited to tv res. can't think of any other reason why a program couldn't change it.
and about the "official drivers" ummmm.. i don't know. maybe. umm..... NEVER! *LOL* i havn't paid much atention, i've been happier with omega's so far.

Try asking this question over on the Rage3d boards.

I know they have a little proggie that somewhat cranked up over there that will fix your refresh issue.

I did not know that there was a board like that out there. Thank you, everything is much better now.
