Where to get mini friges?

Where do i get a mini frige? i would like to put my heatercore and reservoir in a mini frige and i was wondering where i could get a cheap one. say around $50? whats another auction place or classifieds place besides ebay?

Look in your local paper or you will have to pay a ton in shipping. Wal-Mart has some small fridges pretty cheep but not $50.

Nova bought his fridge at Walmart for 80 dollars which isn't really cheap. But other than that you can probably find it in a second hand store for cheap. Fridges themselves are very expensive best to get them second handed for just cooling too.

does the heatercore thing in the refrigerator thing work? or do you need air passing thru it like with fans.......i thought of the same thing and go my frig out of the garage and my dad wouldnt let me modify it......... i think i mite be able to....and put my whole thing in the fridge and watercool it rite off of the cooling element!
if i convince him enough.......

Dude convince your pops already. that would be sweet. just put insulation around your whole comp and throw that sucker in the freezer. then keep some drinks in the frige for your friends and VOILA! instant use of the otherwise "space eater" in your garage.

nah man you dont need insulation when its in a frige all the rest of the air is the same temp and all......... so you dont get condensation unless you are constantly opening and clozing the frig
and it sux to hear that thing going on and off every 2 minits when you are trying to sleep!

Looking for one cheap? Find the local university and stake out the dorms on move-out day. Heck, you might get one for free!

staking out the dorms? sounds like a lot of work. all very good ideas though. i think i'll start out with the local paper first...then have the dorm one be my last resort.

i have one in my basement ..... from my cousin who went to collgee and didnt take it back....brings alot of ideas,....hmmm
