Hey guys,

On Silversink's recomendation I purchased the Alpha Pal 153 (1U Rackmount cooler) and have put it on my GF3 Ti500 -- it worked great (an outstanding Vid cooler). I used Artic Alumina Adhesive mixed 3:2 with straight Artic Alumina. Now I have sold the card and need to get the Alpha off so I can put it on my new card.

What do you recomend as the best way to get the Alpha off the card without damaging the card? I really want to do this right -- I really do not want to cause any damage to GF3.

I hear that sticking the card in the freezer for 15 minutes (after putting the card in a zip-lock bag first of course) will cause the Adhesive to weaken and allow the cooler to pop right off. Then I just use acetone and alcohol to get any remaining AA off of GPU and HSF.

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks in advance.

Go with the freezer then when you go to remove the fan slip a credit card under it then take a small flathead screw driver and slip it in the and give a little twist.
