Blinking wifi light on dell xps m1530

I really need help, i installed a new intel wireless 4965 mini card in my Dell xps M1530 and since then my wifi light doesn't stop blinking. It goes off and then comes back on its as if is a activity indicator but when i had my previous card a dell 1395 wireless card it use to just stay solid. Can some one please let me know a way of just getting the light to stay solid or to deactivate it completey as it is so annoying, thanks:bang head

Do you know where it's plugged in? You could always cut the wires if you don't...
