Alright, am I stupid for thinking up this idea, or would it actually be possible.
What Im thinking of doing is purchasing a small fridge for my room, then modifying a watercooling unit, and attatch it to the freon line in the fridge, then run the freon through the lines of the watercooler. Would that work?

mm thats pretty wild, wouldnt it be easier to mod fridge and put ur water cooling unit in the fridge with lines coming out?

But how could you not want freon right to your waterblock, I mean, freon!
Are you trying to make a poor man's vapo chill?
I think a better solution would be to take a small fridge and remone the evaporater core. Then sumerge the entire evaporator core in a icechest (useing the ice chest as your resivor of course)
Or better yet use a wall shaker type air conditioner, and do the same thing (but I wouldn't want that electric bill)
Just find a cold line and run it through your waterblock, I dont know. It should work

I don't think the water lines will withstand the expansion and pressure created by the freon, pretty crazy idea. I also think the freon would freeze the water pretty well, then i think you get the idea, ice doesn't flow like that.

No, I wasnt planning on having any water in it, just the freon, I could find some kind of line that wouldnt freeze and crack on me. Hrm, I gotta find a way for this to work.

This is a project I am working on myself presently. It is very complex and to get it right requires some complex solutions.
