View Full Version : Corsair TX850 PSU Supports 3x 4890 Crossfire??

Hi Guys,

Just to know, with this specs, does someone know if my PSU will support 3x crossfire of 4890?
Because I don't want to blow it up :P

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz
Mother: ASUS M4A79T Deluxe
RAM: Corsair XMS3 DHX DDR3 2x2GB
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1 TB, SATA 3 Gb/s, 32 MB Cache, 7200 RPM
Video: HIS HD 4890 1GB (256bit) 4Gbps GDDR5 Crossfire x2
Power Supply: Corsair TX850W
Case: Coolermaster Centurion 690
Display: Dell S2409W Full HD Monitor
Keyboard: Logitech G15v2
Mouse: Logitech G5 Blue
GamePad: Logitech Chillstream
Sound: Edifier R451 5.1
O.S.: Windows 7 Pro x64

You'll be fine. http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine doesn't have PII 955 yet, but with a 940 and 3x 4890, it is still under 600W at 100% load.

I have almost the same setup with crossfire, I would imagine another 150W of your PSU over mine should be enough to suffice.

PSU calc is meh.. (but best we have)...

But without a doubt you will be fine with your setup and a Corsair 850TX.
