We all know you can put PC100 into a PC133 motherboard, and the FSB will just run at 100MHz.
But can you put PC133 into a PC100 motherboard without consequence?
Sometimes you can use pc100 in a pc133 board. If the board supports a 133 fsb the pc100 would have to run at that speed. Most boards have the option for a 100 fsb so you would be ok. If you go the other way with a pc100 board and use pc133 everything will be fine. With the pc133 in a 100 fsb system you can probably lower the latencies and make it faster yet.

I sell alot of PC133 RAM to people that still use a 100mhz FSB chips/MB at the store. The PC133 will clock itself down 99% of the time.
I've even used PC 133 in a PC 66 Mobo (don't ask), tho only for a short time. It should work.
I've got a 256 meg stick of pc133 in an old Gateway that came with pC100 and it works fine for me.

All memory PC66, PC100, PC133 will work in all boards.
PC133 will work in PC66 mobo's.
PC133 is capable of running up to 133Mhz and somtime furthur.
The only thing that should be noted, is High & low density chips.
This would be the only reason why it would not work.
You can use PC66 in a board that uses PC133 Memory, but the CPU must be have a 66Mhz FSB, in order for this to work. i.e. Pentium II 233 to 333Mhz and or Celerons up to 766Mhz. Understand?
