How do i get the console to work on linux it has the file LinFAHR9.exe
Isn't ".exe" windows executable, im confused here.

DId you make sure to download the linux client? If so, have you tried running it?

yup, it's the linux client, right from the F@H website, and it just says it doesn't have anything to run it. Some body PLEASE, ive got cycles here that are just waiten to fold

That's the correct file. Just type './LinFAHR9.exe' at the command prompt and it will run. You might need to also use the command 'chmod +x LinFAHR9.exe' before the first time you run it.

You can also drag the icon into a terminal window (at least on the KDE desktop). I haven't learned much about Linux yet, but I know this works! :D
