laptop display problems

I have a laptop that the screen will only work it it is tilted and help in a certain spot i was wondernig if that the screen is broke or if a connection was just jared lose. The cause of all this was it was dropped from no higher than a 2ft or less high coffee table.

Any suggestion would help out alot as to what the real problem could be.

I think the only way you're going to find out is to open it up and investigate

Could be a damaged cable or connector, or just a loose connection. Either way, to fix it you'll need to get inside. This may help you get started:
