Program to Convert Or Edit .WMV?

That's what I'm looking for, need it to edit a .WMV file for an avatar. Thanks in advance.

windows movie maker uses that format comes with XP and ME....
and i think MS will let you download that prog from them... WMM has some basic edit functions... and you can always convert it to an AVI file, and use a real movie editor

Can't find it anywhere, not under Downloads on Microsoft.com or on downloads.com.
