DDR Memory seems to be dificult to find at a decent price.

Where can DDR memory be found at decent or lower prices?

Here in the classifieds maybe. It can't be found at a retailer for a lower price any more. It's EoL and being manufactured to fill a replacement gap. Demand is around equal to supply, therefore the price has gone up. Supply won't be increasing, so that's the only direction for it to go.
