uh, i was browsing through the cpu database. either some of you have super powers, arent carefull what you type, or are full of beans! ok, before i call anyone a liar ill ask everyones opinion. can a xp1500 go 2500mhz on an epox board? even if you freeze it with liquid helium? (its not even stated that they did this, just giving them the benefit of the doubt). or how about a xp1600 that is OVERclocked to 1050mhz? haha. i hope i dont get flames for this. i dont think i'm the silly one around here.

Yeah, I've seen some pretty farfetched claims. I tend to ignore the unbeleivable extremes and concentrate on the more realistic posts.

No, you're not.
I agree with Luta, concentrate on the more-realistic posts in the DB.
Although there is a "few" that CAN back it up.
Which is nice for us.
But which is which? (witch-lol)

hmm. i remember when i used to be an intel boy(shame on me!) the intel database would include some hardly beleivable claims. although some people would provide a link to a web site that stated in detail what they did to acheive this. so that made it a little more beleivable. anyways, they could have just made bogus claims and pictures on their site. well at least they put time into their b.s. effort. c'mon folks if your gonna make a bogus claim at least make it SOMEwhat beleivable! those guys that just type that they o/c'd a palamino by over a gigahertz with no other info are probably just jerks that go all over the web making bogus claims. they probably dont even own a palamino. i doubt they hang out on the boards here, at least i hope not. they just stop by to muck things up. it is also possible that people didnt type carefully and typed in a wrong number. either way, please try to keep it real!
the 1600+ agoga's are looking pretty good. but, even those do not overclock by over 1ghz. gee whiz.
i'm waiting for the guy with the 2500mhz 1500+ to show up and defend him/herself :)
ok i am done driving this point into the ground!
