i just bought my tbird today... and its my first shot on an AMD proc, so tell me is the AYHJA-9 stepping good for oc-ing? if yes, what are the average and highest speed? it also comes unlocked yipee!

well depends but im pretty sure they in general the AYHJA-Y oc better than AYHJA-9.. but you should still get a decent oc out of it if you are using the right stuff. why dont you go check ou the cpu database and see what other people did....

Because it ends with a # it will be limited to O/C, the better ones end with a letter.

As stated, the AYHJA is generelly thought to be a good stepping and the AYHJA-#'s are beleived to be a little less ocable than the AYHJA-Y's. However, the 1GHz@1.5GHz in my sig is an AYHJA-9.
Of course an OC depends on many other variables beyond just which chip ya got.
