OK well i have MW2 and played through it a decent bit. I got to a mission where your in a shower area... and MY GOD is looks EXACTLY like the scene out of the film "The Rock"

Looks good! hm.. im not a fan of those cartoonish looking grenades and flahs bangs and tube and claymores though :(

iirc there was a level that looked nearly as identical to that scene out of Rainbow six 3...

Yeah, that came to mind immediately. Definitely the rock!

perhaps there is a standard prison shower layout all games/movies use, that we don't know about =p

ye, I didnt even have to read youir text to know what film - its crazily similar :/ - hopefully you didn't get blitzed like the marines in the rock did though.

Ya man in that mission you come up with Sean Connery. You still haven't told him you aren't a field agent. The guy who's got those weird missiles comes down and before he shoots your team up he reminds you that he has a tactical advantage because he's up high.

The flare scene is also very similar to the rock in terms of its setup, not look.

The weapon stockpile in the last level is almost a copy from Iron Man as well (when he's in Afghanistan).

The music also becomes very much like part of the Pirates of the Caribbean melody on one of the final levels too.

All in all it's pretty unoriginal.

Ignoring the inspiration, why is that pic you posted so bright? Gamma cranked way up or something?

its not really all that bright.... i think it was just where i was looking, that whole mission was much darker than that pic.

There are 2 games that also use a map like that. 1 game is called gunz the duel and the other one I have no clue anymore lol.

and the snow level, when you go to plan "b" reminded me of golden eye.
