I built my new rig last month (my first), and my sound card never output.
It had to be fixed, so i research what some problems may be, i see that onboard sound has to be disabled, i do that and it still doesn't work. Windows detects my sound card as an audio device and states it's working properly. i think i may know what the problem could be, that thhe audio service isn't running, but that may only be for running an advanced sound rendering thing. i think.
P.S. I am running windows 7, are the drivers unstable?
should i reinstall the drivers?
