4890 or 5770?

This decision has been going through my head and every new thread I come across comapring the two I get different recommendations. The way I see it:

5770-
Pros: Quieter, lower power consumption, cooler.
Cons: Weaker performance for the same price as 4890

4890-
Pros: Strong performance for good price.
Cons: Hotter, louder and power-hungry.

I don't consider Eye-infinity and DX11 pro's at this point.


Which would you buy if they were the same price?

I have to say it would depend on games and resolution you will use , if the 5770 is adequate for you then the pros you listed would make it a better buy , but if you need as much performance as you can get 4890 is a fair bit faster and also might i add 5770 does cost less .
