Hello.

I have done the reading and have worked out how to modify the pl-ip3/t to support variable voltages via a dipswitch.

One teeny problem.

Could someone please please tell me how to remove the plastic slot1 mechanism thing from the outside of the adapter so I can access the back of the circuit board?

Thanks.

I cannot work out how to remove it (without destroying it. I need to put it back on).

heh u better find two round black things on the black cover and experiment with them... believe me it's the easiest part.. just don't use too much force and u can't break it

As doer pointed out, it pops right off. I think you could do the mod with a pot instead of dip switchs. The IC that controls the Vcore is right behind the mosfets. I would give you a link to the data sheet but I returned my iP3/Ts.

Yep I know where the IC is. Seen pic's and have downloaded the data sheet for it.

OK, so I try pushing the little black things and it pops off?

I just pealed them apart starting at the side closest to the latches.
