I just obtained an old Pentium processor. I looked on intel.com, but didn't see anything that could identify it. Looks like 100Mhz, but if anyone knows a reference that could tell me for sure, I'd appreciate it.
On the back of the processor (pins facing up):
25043130NB
MALAY 514 ES
INTEL m c 92 93
A80502-100
SX963
Any info, great...if not, no great loss...it's obviously not a P4. :)
Thanks!
Yes, it's a P-100.

Thanks very much! :) Now I know where to look in the future, as well.
Appreciate it!
And now you know why it was given to you as well lol. I have a couple of old Pentium machines and they are sooooo slow. Oh well, its nice to have a piece of history lying about lol. Find the right mobo and you might get lucky and be able to OC that thing clear up to a 200. I have an old 166 pentium running at 200 right now on a system that I revived for my kids.
The P-166 will run 200 most of the time, but it's highly doubtful a P-100 would overclock anything close to that. However, they will usually do 112.5 (1.5X75) if you have that FSB setting or sometimes 133 (2X66).
