hi

i have an 850 Celly that will run windows (briefly) @ 1190 (140 FSB)
runs rock solid @ 1130 (133FSB).

these overclocks have been done using cpucool

i have a gigabyte GA-60MM7E mobo

when i try to o/c thru the bios the highest i can go is 1.06 (125FSB)

any ideas on why i can't get similar speeds thru my bios???

Boot up is tough on an overclocked CPU. The highest temps are often during a cold boot. That's why softCPU and those other overclocking programs sometimes work better. Maybe try to do more cooling mods.

Volcano 6cu+ has my vote or Millennium Glaciator 2 if you want to go abit extreme as your chip is a good overclocker.
