Now this is what I call a "no brainer" to set up a single or multiple loop system in.
Besides the 3x120 in the top, the lower drive cage can be removed without a lot of hassel and about 15 minutes of work with a dremel or nibblers opening up the bottom where the lower drive cage was and you've got the perfect place for a 2x140 Rad.
I'm only using a 2x120 in the top because I already had it and coupled with the Koolance EXOS 2.5 and the Koolance 350AC water block I'm more than covered for a CPU only loop and will have no problems adding a GPU to the loop down the road !

I know it's not trick or anything special but it's all mine and I LIKE IT.

Very nice. What kind of temps are you getting with that loop?
I see you got that new corsair case, just curious, how do you like it?
i would like to make sweet sweet love to that case :D

That case has a couple of features that are simple, but just make good sense. Among them is the access to the back of the mobo which gives you the ability to swap out bolt-thru heatsinks and waterblocks without having to remove the board. Hard to believe that isn't standard on all enthusiast cases.
Of course, I'm willing to bet that you'll see more of them in the future, both in factory and home-made flavors.
Imitation...second only to innovation.

nicely modded and tube routing. great job.
though i hope your running anti-corrosion fluids.... the koolance exos is a fail with it's aluminum rad.
how is the airflow? up through the rads or down into the case?

[QUOTE=Haggenator;6306661]Very nice. What kind of temps are you getting with that loop?
Idle= whatever ambient air is and load is 46c with a 1.5375v Vcore.
I have replaced both the lower intake and the rear exhaust 140 low speed fans with 89CFM 140 on a fan controller and of course the upper Rad/ exhaust 89 CFM 120's, which are pull through, are also on the controller so overall air flow is excellent.
The internal 2x120 Rad is also aluminum and as you know Koolance's water blocks are copper but nicely plated and I use nothing but Koolance coolant so galvantic corrosion is not a problem.

Can indeed attest to the ease of water cooling with this case. Finished my first watercooling build a couple weeks ago. Just a redo of my old hardware in the case and adding a cpu only loop. Going to add the NB to it and another loop with a gpu or two when I get a whole new system pretty soon.

Now that is a case I would consider actually buying.

The Obsidian 800D is a damn good case ! My next Purchase.

I'd prefer it with a window. I like windows with watercooling, not for the bling factor, but to be able to peek in and make sure there is nothing wrong. For air cooling, I could care less.

you can never stop the corrosion, but for general purpose its greatly reduced. just keep running antifreeze and you should be good overall.
