I'm building a new machine and unsure of which graphics card to get. I want something inexpensive. I use my consoles to game and mostly do DVD converting and photo and video editing so I've really been making due with a GMA 950 for the last few years. When I build the new machine, I'm going to occassionally play a game, in particular Star Trek online so gaming is not the focus here but I want to be able to at least have a console level experience graphically should I want to play a game. It would be nice if it had CUDA support for the future but not necessary.

If you want CUDA, and it's not going to be a huge gaming machine, then I'd suggest a GTS 250. Here's a pretty good deal on one. $89.99 AMIR + Free 3D Glasses.

+1

It can play crysis on high at a fair resolution so you can use it for most games on medium-high settings and it also has CUDA so it's all you could ever need.
