Sooo good games that are coming out soon?

I won't have much money spare for the next few months due to uni so I can probably buy 1 or 2 games over the next 3 months or maybe more.

What games should they be? Should I wait for bioshock 2?
Should I get L4D2?
Should I get Crysis 2?

As you can probably tell I'm an FPS fan and I don't much care for anything else (find they take to long to get into).

So what games do people recommend? I loved bioshock 1, crysis 1 + warhead, HL series, l4d1 and so on.

Thanks for any recommendations anyone can make and stuff.

There is a new alien verses predator coming out in march.... looks dam good!!

I never really got into the original Alien vs Predator so doesn't seem like my kinda game =(

while the new avp game looks good, i dont think i could bring my self to pay full retail for it, just seems like it wont be too good or balanced. Hope im proved wrong.

End of January is Mass Effect 2. It's like a Squad based FPSRPG :shrug:. The first one was a lot of fun IMO.

Really? I loved AvP on the pc... but you are right tho, it was easy being the predator... especially in multiplayer... my mates banned me from being the predator...

I think you should get Fallout 3, it's pretty cheap now and Ive got 150 hours on it. What a game. Fun as hell FPS elements too. Plus modding adds so much. That'd be my first
choice, plus you'll have money extra for a newer game later.

Already got Fallout 3. Amazing game... until I brought Operation anchorage and then they brought out mothership zeta... both terrible, terrible DLC's.

I just got Dragon Age : Origins and I like it a lot. (Single player RPG)

Mass effect ftw! Went through the story 3 times now once on the 360 and twice on my pc.
Now the sequel is supossed to be even more bad ass :D

Like I've already said, I loved Mass effect 1. Absolutely loved it to bits. I've already pre-ordered ME2 and I seriously can't wait... WANT NOW!

I was also going to say get L4D2 but you already have L4D1 which they are still going to make updates for and still many people play. The only difference in my opinion melee weapons which are crazy fun.

I never really played the first Bioshock (although I did play the demo). I just couldn't get into it.

So I guess L4D2 and Crysis 2 have my vote!

Bioshock didn't grab me either until about an hour or two in. I played the demo when it was released, it didn't grab me, tried the demo again a few months later, wasn't really into it. Finally, a few months later I bought the game for $10 on a Steam sale and played through it. Once I got into it, I couldn't put it down, it ended up being one of my favorite games. It has one of the most engaging stories I've ever seen. Give it a shot next time it is on sale on Steam, even if the demo didn't really grab you. :)

I'll take your word for it and keep my eye out next time it's on sale. Maybe I'll get Bioshock 2 since it's DX11 and I bought a DX11 GPU
