mixing ram

is it bad to mix types of ram

currently i have pc 133 ram and my brother is upgrading to DDR and throwing out his pc100 ram. could i use that ram or would it be unproductive?

If you are running at 100fsb as you signature shows then you can use it.

You will just have to see if they play nice together, it won't harm anything to try.
